Company, Become Our Partner
As a corporate partner, you take part in meaningful work that promotes safe operations and sustainable futures, supports good causes, and contributes to corporate social responsibility.

Is it important to you to act and do good based on sustainable values? Do you want to promote maritime safety? Do you—or your regions or partners—have a need to develop operations and networks, marketing, and sales in Europe? Would you like to reach Finns, people with Finnish roots, and those interested in Finland in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom? Do you need visibility and contacts for your regions or projects in the heart of Europe?
The Seamen’s Church supports and promotes the wellbeing of seafarers and Finns living abroad. We provide a place to pause in the midst of work and everyday life, and we are available for conversation and support.
Our international centres are visited by Finns living abroad, seafarers, students, au pairs, truck drivers, business travellers, employees on overseas assignments, tourists, local residents, and friends of Finland from near and far. For our visitors, the Seamen’s Church is a piece of home in a foreign country and a new culture – a home away from home.
Seamen’s Churches abroad also serve as hubs of Finnish identity, the Finnish language, and culture, as well as showcases for Finnish food products and design in Europe. Many Finnish products have entered European markets through the Seamen’s Churches’ Finland Shops and Finnish fairs.

The Finnish Seamen’s Church is ready to act as an even closer partner for Finnish organisations, regions, and companies in international markets – promoting a positive image of Finland and showcasing Finnish quality as well as safe products and services.
Seamen’s Churches in Finnish ports serve all seafarers in accordance with the international principle of reciprocity, while also welcoming other visitors. At our churches, seafarers from different countries, heavy goods vehicle drivers, local residents, and tourists come together.
In ports, our port chaplains – and at sea, our ship chaplains – carry out preventive work to reduce accidents and support the holistic wellbeing of seafarers and ship communities.

How to Become a Corporate Partner?
Through corporate partnership, a company can contribute, for example, to improving maritime safety – particularly in the Baltic Sea – or take part in supporting elderly Finns, as well as children and young people living abroad.
A partnership with the Seamen’s Church can offer companies visibility for their products, services, and operations in European markets. Through the Seamen’s Church and its local networks, companies may also gain market-specific insight and support for business development and employee integration in different regions.
The Seamen’s Church’s international volunteer programme can provide companies with a dedicated contact person in the heart of Europe through a sponsored volunteer arrangement.
Each partnership is tailored individually through cooperation between the Seamen’s Church and the company. Doing good is a collaborative effort that benefits both parties. Partnerships may include long-term product and service cooperation, multi-channel visibility, as well as fixed-term campaigns or individual events – always aligned with the company’s activities and current situation.
Companies can also support the Seamen’s Church through donations or by offering their expertise for use in the Church’s work. Support can be directed to Seamen’s Church activities abroad, in Finland, or at sea.
We invite your company to join us in developing a safe future and international operations, doing good, and fulfilling corporate social responsibility as a Seamen’s Church partner – in a meaningful and mutually beneficial way.
