In Finland

At Seamen’s Churches in Finnish ports, we meet seafarers from different countries, heavy transport drivers, and local people. We work closely with local congregations and various port operators.

The Finnish Seamen’s Church has offices in seven locations in Finland: Kemi, Oulu, Kokkola, Rauma, Turku, Vuosaari (Helsinki), and Hamina. Each church is staffed by a port chaplain working together with volunteers.

The port chaplain in Oulu also visits the ports in Raahe as needed, the Rauma chaplain visits the ports in Pori, the Turku chaplain visits the ports in Naantali, and the Hamina chaplain visits the ports in Kotka.
